Dante Hillmedo is a Bronx-born visual storyteller, filmmaker, and entrepreneur whose work captures emotion with clarity and power. As the founder of Team Elite Productions LLC, a New York City–based film and photography company, Dante specializes in creating impactful visual content for both world-renowned brands and rising entrepreneurs. His style combines cinematic polish with raw authenticity, making him a trusted presence behind the camera.
Over the past 11 years, Dante has filmed and directed content for some of the most recognizable names in entertainment and business. His client list includes Jay Z, Drake, DJ Khaled, Kim Kardashian, Lil Uzi, 21 Savage, Michael Rubin, Essence Magazine, VH1, Roc Nation, and many more. From red carpet events to intimate behind-the-scenes moments, Dante is known for capturing footage that moves people while respecting the energy and privacy of the moment.
Beyond celebrity and corporate work, Dante remains committed to community. He frequently collaborates with small businesses and first-time entrepreneurs, helping them tell their stories through professional-grade promotional videos, social media content, and branded visuals. Whether it’s a spa owner in Harlem or a new startup in Brooklyn, he brings the same level of attention, vision, and creative strategy to every project.
Before fully transitioning into the film world, Dante served as a high school teacher for six years, teaching film and music production to students in New York City. Under his guidance, many students graduated with Adobe Premiere Pro certifications, giving them a competitive edge in the creative industry. He continues to support youth through one-on-one mentorship and training, offering guidance to young creatives who want to break into videography, editing, and content production.
In 2024, Dante completed production on his debut feature film, Butterfly, a deeply personal and dramatic narrative that marks his arrival as a serious filmmaker. The film won Best Feature at the Big Apple Film Festival and is set for a red carpet premiere at the SVA Theatre.
Whether shooting with a RED Epic Dragon or crafting emotional arcs in the editing suite, Dante’s mission remains the same: to create visuals that captivate, inspire, and leave a lasting impression.
